Volunteering is a rewarding way to help in the community.

If you find yourself with some free time on your hands once the kids head back to school, consider volunteering with the White Bear Area Senior Program which is committed to providing support and care for our local seniors. Program services include Meals on Wheels delivery of nutritious meals to seniors’ homes regardless of patrons’ age or ability, as well as activities like dance classes, technology help and more. These services couldn’t exist without the help of volunteers.

There are a variety of ways to be a part of the Senior Program community. You could join the advisory team, work on community events or help Meals on Wheels with route delivery or as a kitchen aide. Volunteering with the Senior Program can be a one-time thing or an ongoing and rewarding relationship. To learn more about volunteer opportunities or to get involved, call 651.653.3121.
