The floral studio opens this fall with a selection of candles, flowers and experiences.
Creativity is blooming in downtown White Bear Lake thanks to the introduction of a new small business: Floristry North. Offering unique experiences such as customized candles and a curated flower selection, Floristry North aims to introduce a fresh take on floristry to the community. The flower shop and custom candle bar is the brainchild of floral designer Kim Bauer. “I wanted to create a space that feels like stepping into something personal and inspiring—where flowers tell stories, and people feel connected to what they bring home,” Bauer says. “I can’t wait to share it with our neighbors.”
The grand opening event from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. September 13 includes a line-up of free, drop-in style activities, including:
- A build-your-own bouquet bar
- A candle-pouring experience from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Meet-and-greet with local artists from the shop
- Local coffee from partner Kathie’s Coffee, supporting the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
- Enter to win a gift bundle from the store
