White Bear Lake Area High School student Lauren Martin created Time is Running Out in Shawn Gritzmacher’s art class. “I found these objects both funny and ironic when I ran across them in a salvage center in St. Paul. Clocks and bells have both come to signify the passing of time. One of the clocks had a tag on denoting it as a retro school clock, although we have the same clocks currently in our school! It made me think about how time is passing, but things remain the same,” says Martin.
