A White Bear Lake Area High School Student discovers gouache.

White Bear Lake High Area High School student Lynn Fastner painted this untitled work using gouache in Shawn Gritzmacher’s art class.

“My love for gouache grew over the summer, and this is one of my first experiments in the medium. I wanted to utilize color in an impressionist manner and have fun with it. I hope you enjoy the results,” says Fastner.
