Since 1978, Grandma’s Bakery has been whipping up fresh-baked pies, cookies, breads, cakes, pastries and doughnuts in their two retail locations in White Bear Lake. And, lucky for us, you can watch all those bits of bakery deliciousness being made. “All the baking is done in full view of the public, and you can watch our bakers turn hundreds of pounds of dough into doughnuts or watch our award-winning cake decorators make each cake a work of art,” says owner John Lupo. If only they could figure out how to bottle that heavenly smell.
