Building Bridges through Art

We cordially invite you to an extraordinary event taking place in our community, an art auction called Building Bridges through Art. This event marks the first gathering of the anti-war Russian, Ukrainian and American communities to foster unity and transformation.

The main objectives of this fundraiser are to support Russian political prisoners and to empower Ukrainian youth. A staggering 600 political prisoners in Russia have been sentenced to 10 years due to their anti-war stance and actions. Often overlooked, this dimension of the war demands our attention and support. Moreover, we are honored to host 30 Ukrainian students participating in the esteemed leadership program, YouLEAD.

We are thrilled to announce that our guest speaker for the evening will be Olga Sadovskaya, a renowned human rights activist who is famous for her work with Crew Against Torture. She was shortlisted for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017, and her insights promise to be both enlightening and inspiring.

We sincerely hope you can join us for this remarkable gathering. Your presence and support will make a tangible difference in the lives of Russian political prisoners and Ukrainian youth.

The proceeds will be split between support for Russian political prisoners through the organization Crew Against Torture and YouLEAD. Donations from our Ukrainian students will go to their charity of choice, the Protez Foundation, which helps connect Ukrainians with Prosthetics.
