Spiess Landing Rededication and Monument Unveiling

The City of White Bear Lake and the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society (WBLAHS) invite you to join us on June 24, 2025 at Spiess Landing in Matoska Park to honor the late Gerry Spiess and his incredible accomplishments of traveling across the Atlantic and the Pacific in a 10-foot sailboat!

We’ll unveil a brand new monument and hear brief remarks from Mayor Dan Louismet, WBLAHS Executive Director Sara Hanson, and former Channel 5 reporter Jason Davis.

Brief remarks will begin at 5:30 p.m. No registration required.
