Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic

Over the past 29 years, the Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic has raised more than $4.4 million for children’s cancer research. This year, the tournament will once again be welcoming back more than 110 of the area’s top men and women tennis players. Fundraising Golf Tournament

Golfers will have a scrumptious lunch before heading out for an exciting round of golf with friends and community members. At the end of the day, golfers wind down with another delicious meal and fun award ceremony. Now in their 19th season, Ski Otters are once again bringing their dazzling water ski shows to the masses. This year’s theme is “Skiloose,” a takeoff of the movie Footloose, and will include human pyramids, barefoot skiing, jumping and wakeboarding. State Arbor Month Celebration and Minnesota Tree Climbing Championships

This year the DNR is celebrating Arbor Day and Arbor Month by encouraging families to play in natural settings such as your backyard, a nearby woodlot, or forested area.

The 2014 State Arbor Month Celebration will be at Oak Hill Park in St. Louis Park. The event will give families a chance to play with nature, while watching some of the best tree climbers in the state compete at the Minnesota Tree Climbing Championship.
