Various topics are discussed including understanding grief; stress and the impact it has in our daily lives; understanding the importance of healthy mourning; communication and goal setting; and creating a new sense of identity and moving beyond our grief. It is important that you attend all sessions.

NCAA Basketball Tournament Final Four

Visit U.S. Bank Stadium to experience Minnesota’s fourth time hosting this exciting basketball championship. Enjoy a variety of basketball themed activities and sit back and watch a fast-paced ball game or two.

Eden Prairie Polar Plunge

Jump into a bone-chilling cold, frozen lake to support Special Olympics Minnesota. Each Plunger raises at least $75.

Eden Prairie Indoor Triathlon

Compete against fellow community members in the center’s state-of-the-art competitive swimming pools and fitness center. Participants will compete in waves of eight. They will swim 1,000 meters or row 2,500 meters, bike 10 miles, and run three miles for a chance to win one of three medals.

Ages 14 and under. Prices vary. All day event.

Hot Dash: Twin Cities in Motion Run

Get your blood flowing at this Minnesotan-themed run. Run a 5k, or tackle the steep “Oven Mitt Mountain” on the 10-mile route. At the end, warm up with hot dish and a meat raffle. Lumberjack shirt optional.

All ages. Prices vary. 8:45—9:15 a.m. start times.

Edina Family Night at Braemar Field

Let off some steam under the big, white dome at Braemar Field. Walk or run laps, play around in the open field or take a swing at the batting cages alongside your family and fellow community members.

Strive Scholarship Spirit of White Bear Lake

This race starts at The Boatworks Commons, (4459 Lake Ave S) on beautiful White Bear Lake.  The course is flat and fast, 5K runs north along the lake to Matoska Park and then back to the Start/Finish at Boatworks Commons.  The 5 mile course continues to West Park then Ramsey County Park and then into the White Bear Lake neighborhood before returning back to Lake Ave, Commercial Bay and the finish at Boatworks Commons.  The registration includes an event T-Shirt.
