Healthy Plymouth's Amazing Race

Join Healthy Plymouth on Saturday, September 22, 2018 for the second annual Amazing Race. Race around North Plymouth following clues and competing in fun challenges all to benefit Healthy Plymouth Youth engagement initiatives, creating engaging out of school activities for youth as a substance abuse prevention strategy. Teams of 4 ages 10+ compete for the $400 cash prize. The event begins at Cordage Park in North Plymouth. Race time is 1PM- 4PM followed by a race afterparty with dinner provided by Mamma Mia's, prizes music and more.

AT MAPLEWOOD NATURE CENTER, 2659 E. 7TH ST., MAPLEWOOD, MN 55119Make nature discoveries, and meet new friends!  This class is offered at the Maplewood Nature Center in collaboration with Early Childhood and Family Education (ECFE) staff.  Parents stay with their children during the entire class. Make nature discoveries, and meet new friends!  This class is offered at the Maplewood Nature Center in collaboration with Early Childhood and Family Education (ECFE) staff.  Parents stay with their children during the entire class. Preregistration is required

CRAFTY BEES AND BUTTERFLIES

(FOR ADULTS, AND KIDS AGES 10 AND OLDER WITH ADULT)

Search colorful asters and goldenrod flowers for our helpful pollinators. After meeting a few; we go inside to create some through the craft of needle felting. We’ll use cookie cutters, wool roving and needles to make a bumble bee, green sweat bee, monarch or swallowtail butterfly. Snack provided!

Stella the Squirrel has done it again! She’s rummaged through your belongings and now your precious magnifying glass is missing. Where can it be? Track down clues using a GPS unit to piece together where she’s hidden it. Closed-toed shoes and long pants recommended.

Aspire to Lead Minnesota

Aspire to Lead is a one-day, inspirational event guaranteed to motivate attendees to take that next leap to leadership within your company and your community. Our 2018 conference will be held on October 24th from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm at the Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Our 2018 theme is “Have a Seat” at the table.
 
Ticket registration will be live on July 9th, 2018. We will be offering Early Bird registration though August 31st.
