Valley Vine & Harvest Throwdown

Each fall, Canvas Health celebrates the bounty of the St. Croix River Valley harvest with an event that dazzles the taste buds. The Valley Vine & Harvest Throwdown is a competitive food and wine event featuring the area’s finest chefs. Proceeds benefit local mental health services and the state suicide prevention hotline. Matoska Music Festival

On Friday, February 6, 2015 at 7:00 PM, Matoska International School will be hosting the Matoska Music Festival.  The festival features nationally-known artists Billy McLaughlin and Katy Vernon. 

For those acting early, the event will include a dinner featuring great food from Donatelli's in White Bear Lake.  All proceeds from this event will go to funding the 4th grade camp experience for the 2015-2016 Matoska 4th grade class and will enable all 4th graders to attend the camp without cost. Emily Program & Foundation to host Unmasked Gala

This second annual event is dedicated to unmasking the secrecy, stigma and shame associated with eating disorders.

The event will benefit the Emily Program & Foundation and its mission to save lives, change minds and eliminate eating disorders. Through seminars, forums and outreach, the Foundation increases awareness for eating disorders, obesity, and body image issues among adults and young people. In addition, it funds citizen lobbying and public policymaking efforts, as well as advocates for greater access to care, research and improved prevention methods. Kidney Kindness Fundraiser

Friends and family of the Shiues and Browns are hosting a fundraiser to cover the cost of a kidney transplant and ancillary costs not covered by insurance. Find their full story below or online at kidneykindness.com
