2020 White Bear Lake BEAR’ly Open Community Dance

COMMUNITY DANCE benefiting White Bear Area Emergency Food Shelf - White Bear Country Inn, 4940 Hwy 61, WBL

Kick off the festivities the night before golfing at the Community Dance from 6:00-11:00 p.m. The evening begins with a social hour that includes hot appetizers and a cash bar, a silent auction and prize drawing, a wall of wine, and more. 2020 White Bear Lake BEAR’ly Open

White Bear Lake BEAR’ly Open – Golf on Ice winter fun event. In its 13th year, the event brings hundreds of local residents to White Bear Lake County Park at Ramsey Beach on the frozen shores of White Bear Lake to enjoy an afternoon of golf on ice. An 18-hole course, complete with real pine trees, a hospitality tent, food and entertainment make it a great way to have fun and raise money for charity. Feline Rescue Cat Claw Clipping Clinic - Roseville

Feline Rescue volunteers are offering free nail clippings for cats and kittens at the Roseville Chuck & Don's location. For their safety, all cats must be transported in a carrier. Donations are appreciated for the shelter cats and kittens. 

The September clinic will be on Saturday, the 14th.

Bear Water Run

Are you looking for the perfect training opportunity before the Twin Cities Marathon, or just want to spend a September morning on a scenic run?

The White Bear Lake Lions Club will host the Bear Water Run to benefit local charitable organizations.

The race offers a USATF-certified course, ChampionChip race results, water-wicking shirts, plentiful food during and after the race, and water and Gatorade stops every two miles. Read more about Bear Water Run

Tiger Tracks 5K and Family Run/ Walk

Earn your stripes and join the Minnesota Zoo for their annual Tiger Tracks 5K to raise money for wildlife conservation. The race starts at the Shady Oaks Picnic area and follows a course through the zoo on outdoor trails. Shout Out Loud Minnesota - A Suicide Prevention Charity Event

Join us for the 2nd Annual ‘Shout Out Loud’ Suicide Prevention and Resource Awareness event! Our main goal with Shout Out Loud is to normalize the conversation about suicide prevention in our community and encourage participation in local wellness resources. HopeFest

Alexandra House hosts its annual HopeFest event in the fall, as our lead into October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The core principles of the event are to raise awareness about domestic and sexual violence, remember those we have lost, and honor the many survivors. The event includes a brief program, a 2-mile walk, Kidz Dash and Kidz Zone with inflatables and games, BBQ from The Bones Brothers, and a vendor/exhibitor resource fair. Read more about HopeFest
